What should I do?

Hello, I am new to this forum other than some random reading here and there over the past year...so please bear with me.

I currently have 3 cards. One is through my bank and the other 2 are through Lowe's and Tractor Supply. I'm not sure about the Lowe's, but I know the other 2 are Visas.

I have been thinking about getting another "general" purchase card. I recently received a couple offers. One is American Express and the other is a Visa.

American Express:

$0 Inroductory offer, $95 after

25,000 points after $1,000 purchases within 3 months

Can't find anything on interest rates

Not sure about anything else with the points. It would be great if someone would explain that part.

Visa:

No annual fees

0% interest until April 2016, 11.99-19.99% interest rate on purchases depending on approval

Portion given back to a charity that I am a supporting member of.

About me, I am a single guy that really doesn't travel often...or at all, really. The points sound good and I can pretty much use it anywhere since I am located in a tourist area. It is also my understanding that American Express typically has higher interest rates, not sure if true. Never had a personal AE card. Previous ones were business cards and I never dealt with billing. I also pay my bills monthly, other than the 2 store cards as they are interest free for a year. I am keeping those accounts revolving until the interest free runs out.

My question is which one should I apply for? Or should I just double down and apply for both and see what happens? If I shouldn't apply for one, why not? Is there something I should look at otherwise? I received the Tractor Supply one a few weeks ago. Lowe's little less than a year ago. MyFico showing my scores in lower 700s.

Thanks for the replies.

Matt

Good evening, is this for the American Express Everyday card? If so, that sounds like a great offer. No AF. Generally, they have decent APRs (very subjective). I'd say to take it if this is for Everyday. Many people on here have and love that card. Easy to earn points on and sometimes special offers only available to Amex cardholders appear on the website (like discounts when you make purchase at certain retailers). Also, the best feature, whatever starting limit you get doesn't matter as this card can get a credit limit increase very soon thereafter. And a very good credit limit increase, sometimes 2-3 times higher than your starting limit.

Active Cards: Chevron Texaco, Amex BCE, Barclays Ring, Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Best Buy Visa, Marvel MCMust garden until 2/1/2022 to hit my goal AAOA. Smiley Indifferent

You never said which Amex card?  I have the ED and the BCE and both don't have an annual fee.  Are there any baddies on your profile?  Your scores are good for Amex.  Who is the VISA with?  Can you provide us with more information.
