What would you do? Amex limit xfer and CLI

I'm sorry I caught this thread so late, and sorry about the CLI denial.  I having personal experience with a card that never got any love from Amex (Everday card at 1k) I would've been prone to suggest going for the increase on the Delta since it was approved at 2k. Well, hindsight is 20/20 for us right, I have confidence the next ask will go much smoother.  Stay the course Op, stay the course.

Thanks for your responses. I kinda figured I was pushing it by going for the CLI on the BCE since they've been hesitant in the past and the spend wasn't anything spectacular prior. Maybe the recent Delta approval had something to do with it, but ultimately that was more important than the CLI. Also figured that if I did get a denial the 91 day retry would only be about a month longer than if I had waited for the 61 day on the Delta.

Still pre-approved for everything and my account has been inundated with popups for the Gold business charge for the past 3 months, but no use for that at the moment. And it figures that as soon as they approved me for the Delta they began offering me the BCE--->BCP upgrade with SUB. Only the $150 one and I'm not doing that either.

All my spend will be going on the Delta with multiple payments and we'll see what happens in June.
