Hello All,
I just received my largest line of credit ever from Penfed last night!!! But I also really would like to apply for the PayPal 2% card. Should I wait until my Pen Fed card reports or should I go ahead and apply now? I'm only asking because I want a decent limit. Thanks!

If you really want to app for the card I would go for it now. In my experience Synchrony doesn't consider other CLs in setting their CL. In Jan, 2015 I app'd for Lowes. I had a Cap One w/$10k CL, Barclays w/$8.7k CL, and Discover w/$6k CL as my highest CLs, and Sync gave me a $737 SL. I called in for recon and got a $5k SL, by honestly telling them I was going to put my house on the market and planned to buy new flooring. But still, with my other CLs their system thought I should only get a $737 SL.
I app'd for the Paypal 2% Cashback card Monday, and got an instant approval. But they only give you a temporary CL of $250, I'm assuming until you get the card & activate it. And a tip: In the Synch app there's a box you can check to make the card your default Paypal payment account. Check that and on approval when you return to PayPal your new card is there. Others have reported that it takes 10 days or more for the card to show up in PayPal, and through PayPal is the only way to access the Sync site for the card.

So PenFed has a 2% card... why wouodbyou need the PayPal card?
PenFed is so much easier to deal with then paypal/sync. and the credit line will grow so much faster.
The catch is that you only get the 2% with the Power Cash Rewards card if you're a current/former military member, or if you have an Access America checking account (which requires a $500 minimum balance in said account). Everyone else gets 1.5%. That being said, I'm still feeling a bit giddy over getting the PCR (which is expected to arrive in today's mail) on a SP from the quarterly FICO review!
