No immediate plans for third card, but definitely will in the future. When did you go for card #3, 91 days or six months after card #2?
Also recommendations for 3rd Navy Card, I know all but one have no annual fee. Does anyone have a specific rec for card #3 with no annual fee through Navy from personal experience? Do I go for a duplicate of one of the other two or a third new one?
*EDIT* I know about the NFCU CLI/ 3rd card thread thank you. I am looking for personal responses to this question vs digging through a long thread.
Yes, my long term goal is to establish a strong credit profile. What appeals to me the most about NFCU is the low APR's and the monster credit lines. I find it much easier to manage a few big credit cards (all on the navy app) vs managing 10 cards with say a few hundred each CL. The NFCU customer service has also been exceptional. I am trying to phase out my smaller, less useful cards and build upwards an arsenal of cards with no annual fee which grow steadily.
In say 2-3 years time I'd like to have a solid maybe 5 (I know the NFCU limit is 3) I mean 5 in general good reliable cards with larger limits for easier managment.
