When to reapply for AMEX

Hey all,

I've had the AMEX PRG for about 2 months now. After getting approved, i applied like a month later for the everyday cash card but was declined. They listed inquiries (I went on an app spree recently) and my being a new customer with AMEX for such a short time.

When do you think it would make sense to reapply for the Everyday card? I've now finished 2 months of payments to the PRG card.

I'd wait until 6 months after the decline to let the inquiries age and to establish a payment record on the PRG.

Thanks! 6 months seems fair... I'm anxious so it feels long haha but makes sense
