amex ED-HP on TRANSUNION

apped for amex last week. denied. reconned and waiting for decision. I keep seeing that amex does experian HP on these forums.Thought I'd let everyone know that I live in Illinois and amex HP Transunion NOT experian.

95% yes ex. But if borderline approval. They may and will sometimes pull another bureau. To get complete picture. This is not unusual.

They did not use ecperian at all. HP was only on trans. Saw hp on trans cr immefiately. Experian report after app had no inquiry from amex. This wss only intended to let people know that amex does use something other than experian for credit decisions.

Thanks for the info.  Does happen from time to time.  I wish they would pull TU for me :-)
