@Anonymous wrote:HI All,
I am looking forward to apply for new Credit Card applications (looking for some high limits 10k +).
Request you to Please advise me on any speicific cards I can apply for (probably instant approvals). I have just registered for Equifax free trial and checked my scores from 3 major credit beauraus which are as below:
EQuifax 715 , Inquiries: 7 in last 2 years
TransUnion 738, Inquiries 1
Experian 718, Inquireis 4
Credit Utilisation : 4% (Total Credit limits : 37,000).
Last month got Chase Marriott and Freedom Unlimited (37k inlcudig these 2 cards)
Kindly advise your valuable suggestions
Take a minute to figure out what's most important to you other than the high CL. Once you narrow that down folks can give you some better suggestions. Like it's been mentioned above, are those true Fico scores?
Try CapOne pre-qual. There was a time when they were generous but I don't see much in the way of CapOne approvals or big CLI's anymore. From what you mentioned you've recently tapped Chase so I couldn't go back there for anytime soon.
Thanks for you reply.
I do not have any military affiliation and my Annual Income is around 95k.
Thanks for your time in replying.
I have just checked Capital One website for Pre-Qualifier. It gave me the below pre-approvals.
QuicksilverOne Rewards and
Capital One Platinum Credit Card
Not sure how good these cards are with Starting Limits.
Any wild guess of me getting approved for "Venture" card with my scores? Has anyone got approved with these type of scores.
Appreciate your replies. Thank You
There's really no guarantee that you'll get a high SL to start with even if you have at least one card with a high CL - it's dependent on a lot of other factors including your scores, your income, your DTI ratio, any baddies on your profile, number of inquiries on the bureau the issuer is using, etc. Take NFCU; I got my newest card from them last week, a cashRewards Visa. That card comes both in "regular" Visa and Signature versions, and I had been hoping for the Signature version due, among other things, to having a Signature card (Cap 1 Quicksilver) with $16K CL, but I only got the regular Visa with a $1K SL. That being said, NFCU is by all accounts generous with CLI's once your account has a suitable history on it (at least 91 days/3 months for new cards; it's recommended to wait, depending on when the account was opened, until the next bimonthly soft pull of your Equifax score is posted to your account, to maximize the chances of a soft-pull CLI rather than incurring an extra hard pull), so I have good hopes of getting that limit boosted significantly after New Year's.
