Which card to app, if at all?

I'm wanting a new card to continue my re-build as I currently only have one CC(cap 1 qc - $750)

I'm down to these two:

PNC Cash Rewards Visa- I've banked with them for years and have never recieved a thing from them until now. I've gotten letters, and also had it mentioned to me in person. I checked their pre-selection thing on the website and it listed 3 cards. The one that was 'suggested' was a points card that I'm not interested in however the Cash Rewards card was listed with a wide range of APR's(13-23%), however all 3 cards had wide ranges.

USAA Rewards AmEx - I'd received multiple secured offers in the past but I wasn't interested. Now they're sending letters and emails for this card as well as a pre-selected offer on the website when logged in. Mentioned 0% til 2/19 and exactly 16.9% after.

I should mention all my baddies are CC related(perfect CR otherwise), I'm currently sitting at TU-670 EQ-657 EX-619(not reflecting recent collections removal yet)

Thoughts on likelihood of approval on either? I honestly don't care about the SL, just want more good payments on my side.

Amex pulls EX and that's your lowest score, so I'd steer clear of that until your EX score is in the ballpark of your other 2.

I think you probably have a better chance applying for the PNC card at your local branch where you bank, I would also wait for the collection removal to update on all your reports before doing so.

Congrats on understanding that the SLs isn't the objective of rebuilder accounts ...get payment history and aging working for you good mindset
