Hello Folks,
I have gathered so far that Cap One Venture with the annual fee and maybe NFL Barclays and Sallie Mae may give the highest CL when opening the accounts.
Am I wrong or do you suggest other better options for best shot at getting the highest possible limits to start with?
Also, If I apply for Cap one first knowing they pull all three bureause, will then when I apply for Barclays or Amex be rejected due to having an HP from Cap one already on the same day? I am trying to figure out which cards to apply first on the same day in hopes to be approved for all of them and not sure but remember reading that Barclay and Amex don't like seeing other HP from other creditors. Insight on this is appreciated.
Thanks a lot!
Applications to attempt are the following: (need to know which is the best order for applying)
Cap one Venture and Plat Prestige
AMex BCE
Barclays NFL and Sallie Mae
Chase Saphire and Freedom
Discover it cash back.
(I understand there is a chance I can use 1 HP for both applications with same lender on same day and I might use the however many browsers I need)
Thanks again for your insight,.

Don't app for the Cap1 Plat Pres - You'll get a much lower limit than if you app for a QS or VentureOne.
You need to move Barclay's to the top of your list. They're INQ sensetive. Also, app the Sallie Mae card before apping the NFL card - it has better benefits.

What this person said^.
Barclay's is very sensative.
Barclay->Cap1->Amex->Chase SP->Chase F->Discover.
However, a lot of benefits overlap for Chase Freedom and Discover It so I recommend only getting Freedom since you can combine the points with Sapphire which you plan on getting. I wouldn't get both. This is going to destroy your AAOA probably.
Good luck!
Thanks for your replies.
So I take that Amex does not mind seeing a Cap1 inquiry on the same day in order to approve you? And Chase might not mind seeing 2 inquiries prior on the same day ?
As for the higher limits which would you suggest give the highest limits besides Venture?
Thanks again!

Barclay being very sensitive could be debatable. When I when on my app spree a little over a week ago I didn't even have them in mind and they were on the tail end of my spree. Having added about 6 new inquires along with the other 6 have had from about 6 months ago. They approved me after some verification. They could be sensitive if your profile is somewhat borderline for them.
