gybizz, I've been able to get some good approvals over the past two years of rebuilding. EQ, no clue what is going on with it, but nose dived a month or so ago. Others are held more from mortgage lates from almost two years ago.
Family heath issues ranked a lot of things a couple of years ago, but have a completely clean report for the past 20 months

Inquiries are part of smallest slice of the FICO pie.  No need to sweat the small stuff here.  You could take on 100 inquiries tomorrow and 12 months from now they won't impact your score at all... but > 12 months from now whatever products you took on from those inquiries will still be around.  Point being, worry about the product(s) you are apping for, not the bureaus that get pulled, as a year from now the product(s) will matter but the inquiries won't.
