Which is a better 2% card you think? PAYPAL 2% OR CITI DC?
They both are good cards...
Ones backed by Citi, and looks feels and acts like a major cc, with some perks and they entertain APRs and such...
One is backed by Sync.... from what i gather its pretty much automatic cashing out to your Paypal acct the 2% every mo.. you have to hit a limit with the DC to cashout.....
DCs tend to get unexpectedly lowish CL out of the gate than other cards.....
Sync cards are usually pretty generous and can be worked to reasonably high CLs if your income and scores support it
Others will chime in.. but they both can be good options for cashback...

Thanks for the reply. I got an invite to apply for the PayPal 2% yesterday and my Transunion is 770 so I know I'd get it but I was originally holding out to get more of my inquiries to fall of so I can get the Citi because it doesnt prequalify me for it when I check the Citi site but if it's not any better maybe I should just get the PayPal. I do see a lot of concerts give early access when you have a Citi card also, that's cool.
This!
Not one of my cards are pre-quals and I have never even checked for pre-quals for any of the cards I have ever applied for.
Good luck!

You dont need a prequal to app any credit card. I think too much weight is put on that. If you want the DC and you feel your profile is up to their standards, just apply. Lol, that's my 2% philosophy
At one time I had both cards. Both started out at the same CL, $700. A year later the DC had increased to a whopping $1200 while the PayPal was sitting at $5000. My reports increased across the boards and other lenders seemed to trust me with higher limits but other than the one $500 increase Citi was always a no go. After the last CLI denial I cut ties with Citi and the PayPal went up to $8K.
From my recollections the DC has redemption limits. The PayPal doesn't have this issue. The DC does have some additional benefits that quite honestly I never used.
With that credit score, you'll probably get an approval and decent SL on either card. Personally I'd go with the DC.
Thanks for the input! I may get both as well..decisions, decisions... Thank you all for the feedback, you're all awesome!
