Who does a single HP for dual CC apps?

Apparently 90%? of the time, Cap 1 does a single HP (but to 3 CB's?) if you apply for 2 CC's from them in the same day.

Who else does this?

I'm reading Amex does like half the time, but I've only heard that from one person so nothing solid.

How about Chase?

Amex does it way more than 50%

Chase can be hit or miss

Also to note any lender may pull 2 CB's for any one app

So I guess you could say all situations are YMMV

I dont think, thats true with Cap1. I recently apped platinum prestige got approved with 3 pulls each in 3 bureaus. when i asked the credit analyst, would they be able to add another new venture app with same pulls. they said NO. they would do another set of 3 pulls from 3 bureaus. then i backed out. so, be cautious.

Cap hit me 2x in the same day. -TU & EX

AMEX also 2x me on a BCE and SPG -EX

Chase pulled one from Ex for my CSP and one from TU for my Freedom.

I've read that AmEx does with a charge and a revolver. Is it often true also for two revolvers?

ETA: I see Sullivan says no.

Amex - Charge & revolver, same day

Chase - I got Marriott and CSP same day

BOA/FIA - Better Balance Rewards & Fidelity Amex same day

Many CU's will also use the same pull for 30-90 days for any credit product.
