Who pulls what??

I am looking to apply for either the DiscoverIT or Amex BCE but I was curious to find out what CR will be pulled. Is there a way to find out? I am located in  AL.

Amex nearly always pulls EX first, but they may pull a second bureau if you're marginal.

Discover has always pulled TU in my experience, but I don't think they're quite as predictable as Amex.

Check the credit pulls database (google it) for a broader look at who pulls what.

For me and my wife Amex pulled all 3. 

Discover pulled EX for me and all 3 for my DW.

It looks like Discover likes to pull Equifax (sometimes Experian) for the Discover It there in 'Bama. They generally pull Transunion for a credit limit increase. 

AMEX likes to pull Experian.

Discover pulled EQ.

Discover pulled EQ for me

AMEX Green did a triple pull for me lol.  I think it was because I had a charge-off with them several years ago.  I also had to fax them my income verifcation.
