We can't all just post what you want to read OP. Real experiences are what this site is about and the reality is 95%+ of Venture cardholders with 2K/mo spend and a 5 digit CL will likely never see a CLI.From all I've read, completely false!
On this site?
The amount of Venture cardholders on this site compared to the rest of the country is like if you took an acre of land and compared it to the state of Kansas. It is a terrible sample size to attempt to rely on. Everybody else is not doing it.

I wonder what the threshold is...
It's ok. Thanks. Getting over it.
@alextercero wrote:Sorry to hear that. try again, make sure you hit the luv button 12 -14 days after your second statement cut, that's how i did it, the first time right when my 2nd statement cut no dice and then 5 days later no dice then right about 12 days after the 2nd statement was cut i got 1k.... wish you luck
Great tip! I will most certainly try again. Thanks!
you got good points, but who does not want to have more credit line available.
Nixon, Look, I dont think you and I are seeing eye to eye. Let's stop the convo here, please? I ask kindly. Thank you.

Wow op. i understand. but they did not rule it out in the future. like 6 months from now. wow. you got 15k too. i only got 5k with my venture. but i also got a 5500 quicksilver. so im ok with it. as i put my income very low in the first place this year. but if they want to give me cli i will take it.

Very true. Thanks. Congrats on your Cap1 approvals.
It's not about seeing eye to eye. I understand wanting a higher credit limit...I've been there!
But to expect one after two months of spending considerably under your limit is absolutely unreasonable no matter the amount of rationalization that is attempted. Be realistic about your credit expectations and you'll find that your results are much more favorable. Good luck in your credit future whatever it may be.
I guess I'm part of the 5%. I have 15k not looking for increase.
Don't follow the herd......
