Double pulls??? In the same CR?
No, double pull means a pull from 2 CRAs for the same app.

Always get the 30 day message. I actually thought United was going to be a denial, but I logged into my online banking and poof there it was.. Still havent gotten the card.
My wife apped for the CSP and was instant approved for 25.3k. Yet every time I app chase I get the 30 day message, yet get approved about a week or so later...
Any Idea why this is?
Thanks,
George
I have always had instant approval. When I apply for the business card, I expect that to change. Personally, the only thing I can think of is age? Can not give rhyme nor reason as to whom they pick for the wait.
@gdale6 wrote:If you have ever burned Chase or a bank they have bought previously you will most likely never get an auto approval and this is true even if the cards no longer can be reported on your CR .
Not necessarily true, I burned WAMU (but not a card), I burned Providian in bk a long time ago (bought by WAMU). I DID do something different, I called Chase 6 months prior to apping, and asked about the negatives. I was eventually transferred to their form of collections, whom cleared out the account, due to lack of paperwork. Recently did the same with BOA, for when I app an airline card. Because of consolidations, I do not know which account went where. I tend to call the majors if there is any confusion on my part long before apping. And am so glad I do. Citi probably had something on me, but it is gone with the wind as well.

They do that to me as well, usually EQ and ex for this area. Cli goes through TU. Citi did the same for my first card. May be they are getting more stringent in criteria?
Agreed. This seems to just be the new way they do things. My first app was in a local branch; instant approval. Happened so fast I'm supprised I didn't walk out of the bank with the card.
I did a recent app and it was double pull (EQ, EX) and a wait messege. Not too big of an issue, but I do wonder about the specifics of the long wait. What are they processing?
Atleast you don't have to mail in the application lol.
4 Chase cards, all instant approval. Last two were in October, SW Plus and Premier auto approved within 5 seconds of each other. The only card I have that I haven't been auto approved for is my Citi DC because I had recently bought a new house and they wanted to verify address.
Got the same message
2 weeks later went to the my account with chase and had the new account added with a 5000.00 credit line
thats my 5th card with chase
