the type of card you apply for makes a difference but also i am in your score range (686-697) and they deny me credit at all lol. they pull some vantage score or some crap so my vantage with them was like 636... weird.
I have the same score Like you and I was approved for the Quicksilver Visa last month with a SL of $3000. Also keep in mind when filling out the application it says "how much money do you spend on your credit cards a month" I do not know what answer does capital one love. I just put $750
I'd just as soon put 1/12th my income in that column. Didn't stop them from only giving me $10,000 with a 768 on my Equifax. I bet if I applied now I'd probably get $30,000 or whatever outlandish credit lines they give out these days. 😄
