No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I already have a QS Secured with a $200 limit but my fault for not opening with a higher amount. I did the pre approval on the website and it shows the same two secured cards again one of what I have already and the platumum.
I wouldn't bother having two Capital One secured cards. There will be little if any long term benefit as both will be bucketed with low limits if they graduate to unsecured. If you want another C1 card, wait until you show some history of paying your balances in full. You'll be more likely to be eligible for an unsecured card that would likely have a higher credit limit. If you really want to apply for another card in the short term, look at secured cards from other banks or a credit union. I would normally say Discover for major issuers, but with the purchase by C1 about to go through that may not be the best option.

I had Dicover long time ago like aroun 2013 I kinda burned them but that was due to my age, to this day I still can't get in.. Not sure if Cap1 taking over is going to change any of that, I need my credit card for international travel and not too sure the Discover is going to be to good for that anyways.
Discover can be hit or miss on letting you back in. Discover was my smallest burn (<$3000), but they were the ones who eventually sued me and led to my filing. Despite that I was eventually let back in with a $400 secured card to start my rebuild. It's sitting at $3800 now and if I used it more would probably grow, but it doesn't really have great rewards (the secured card becomes It Chrome when it graduates instead of the better rotating categories card).
Mine was around $600 or so I can't remember it's been so long ago and the fact that not even a secured card will be allowed maybe it's a good thing Discover will be no more?

If you're seeing the preapproval for a secured QS, then yes, they probably will approve you for a second one with a higher secured limit, so you can have a more usable credit card than your current $200 one.
