So I got the Discover Secured card about a month ago (wasn't confident enough with my 620 score to apply unsecured and waste a HP). Anyways I'm planning on cultivating it along with other open trade lines to improve my score into the 700 club before the one year review comes up so that it'll graduate hopefully with a generous CLI.
My question is: Does Discover allow multiple cards with them? Like if I get into the 700's before the year is up and want to app for another card with them will it be an instant denial because I already have a credit card with them (or even after my secured card graduates).
You should be fine. You have to wait a year inbetween approvals though. If you were just approved, then September 2017 is when you would be eligible to open another card with them. You can have up to 2 cards with Discover.

Okay so say my card Unsecures in August 2017 I'd be good to app for a new one in Septermber 2017? (Would the graduated card count as new resetting the clock or old?)
Correct. You should be good to go in September whether your card garduates or not because if it does graduate it isn't a whole new line of credit, you're upgrading an existing account.
They will allow you have to two cards, but you have to wait a year after obtaining the first. Beyond that they do require a distinct online login for each account for some reason.
I've noticed that the new discover website now has a tab (top right) that says "accounts"....as if to allow you to switch between cards. I can't say for sure, but it seems you can access both cards now with 1 log in..
Discover allows maximum two credit cards and each requires separate online accounts. Accounts tab, that you see online is for other accounts like checking and savings along with credit card account.
Ahhh...Thanks for the info 😬
Is this true for secured card? I was told that I cant have a secured and unsecured card at the same time?
Will the 1 year wait applies? Thanks!
