Good Afternoon,
I want to apply for my second card. I have been a member since 2/2017 I currently have a limit of 3k no lates. Currently my FICO scores are EQ686 TU673 (decreased 23 pts student loans removed) EX659. I want to know if I will get that NFCU love I keep seeing that alot of people get on that second card. I was added to an AU account that should be reflecting on my report by the end of this week that should possibly increase my score 30 pts or better. Will I get approved?
Maybe one of the fine myFICO Moderator's could move your question to here for more exposeure?

I think you would have no problem getting approved. Just pull the trigger!
Thank you as soon as the AU updates I'm going to pull it :-) I will come back to update, this forum has been so helpful!!
You may want to give NFCU a call and have them check for pre-approvals.
I have done that in the past and was pre-approved for ALL cards yet denied credit.
If you are unsure, NFCU has added a prequalify tool to their site. But I believe you have a good chance for a second card. I recently was approved for their Amex Rewards and I was 18 mos post bk chap 7 discharge with a 7.5k SL. Good luck
Thank you!!! I actually just applied for an Auto loan today asked for 26k and APPROVED...Now I gonna still wait until the AU post to apply for the 2nd credit card. Do you think the auto loan will affect the cc approval?
Congrats on the auto loan. There was a recent post here from someone who was 1.5 yrs post bk and was approved for auto loan first and then a second card. Also, since you have recently applied for a loan and was approved, they have your most recent credit report which is open for 30 days. Therefore, you will not incur another hard pull on your credit report. Good Luck
I believe NFCU pulls Equifax for Auto then TU for new cards that's what i'm hoping anyway :-)))
