Will a Delta Gold Email Offer (75k SUB) be a SP?

I received this offer by email. The application transfers to Amex website but I'm not able to log in, so I have to enter all of my information as if I'm a new Amex application. When I log into the normal Amex site, the points bonus offer is the typical 40k, when I hit apply it says I'm pre-approved. 

My question is, when I apply using the email link, is the application process likely be a SP?

AMEX should know who you are even if you're not signed in, so I believe it would be a SP for you as an existing cardmember.

Not 100% certainty though, as occasionally they've been known to still do a HP.

Got approved. It was a soft pull. I got the "You're application is being reviewed." I called this morning and they asked if I was in the Military, the CSR said the military question comes up when you're a current Amex customer and your reports are frozen.
