I'm pretty happy with what I have. Actually looking to prune some of the deadweight cards.
But...I'd be inclined to go after the Amex Platinum in the next year or two.
I've been asking myself whether or not to get either a Citi DC or Discover It. The difficulty deciding tells me I probably don't need anything. I really have all I need with just my 4 cards ( Platinum Amex Delta, CSP, Freedom and QS). After them it kind of becomes redundant. I don't know how those of you with tons of cards do it to be honest. How much can you really spend? Lol!!

Scratch the Jetblue card off of my list, I just got approved for it this morning

I have just about every card I want and now I want them to grow! Capital 1 - 5k Amex - 5k and another for 6k, citi bank 8k, ebates 15k, chase 9k. But I only have one travel card which is Alaska airlines for a measly 500.00. I need a travel card but not sure which to get. So I'll be looking for one! My credit file just started last year!
Which travel card should you get? Whatever airline you will use. The best travel card in the world is pretty useless if you can't/don't/won't use it.
I LOVE SW (as do a lot of people, evidently). I'm pretty remote (closest airport is 100 miles away, closest REAL airport is almost 250 miles), but SW is worth making travel plans work. Plus I can get return flights for just a few thousand points, meaning the 50k signup bonus will last me a LONG time.
My absolute favourite airline is Qantas, but they no longer have an US based card. I HATE American, but they code-share with Qantas, so that makes the AAdvantage card worth it to me, although I cannot see myself ever actually flying on an American-branded flight.
This is truly an YMMV situation. It doesn't matter that SW has a great card if they don't fly routes that work for you. I hear great things about Jetblue, but since they don't service my market, I have no use for an otherwise great card.
I have two cards on my wish list. Venture One and Discover. For some strange reason I keep being denied for both. Anyways I will try again this summer when I leave the garden.
