Work on 1 card or all for cli?

I've read a lot of these forums but still don't understand. If I'm looking for cli do I run one specific card up a few months paying monthly and then use the others for a small purchase while doing that? Or is it I have to use them all frequently? Do they only care about the card I request the increase on or all across my accounts🤷🏻‍♀️

What card(s) are we talking about here?

Whatever card/lender you're planning to request a CLI with will only care about usage on their card(s). As long as your other cards with other lenders don't have high/maxed out balances, they won't care about those.
