Anyone has experience with United Explorer? CSP? Are they good on SL?

If the 5/24 rule from Chase is valid than I can't get 2 Chase cards!

This is will be my final application.

They both give good SLs I believe, and I think the CSP is a min. 5k SL. The 5/24 rule only applies to Chase's main cards (i.e. Freedom, CSP, and Slate), it does not apply to their co-branded cards (as far as I know).

Wait so I can have 5 Chase cards? They won't declined me if I have 4 new accounts in the L2 months? I can still try to get 2 Chase cards now? Thanks again.

Yes, you can have 5 Chase cards (I've seen people with 11), but I think you can only have 2 Chase apps within a 30 day period (I could be wrong). So as long as you only have 5 cards or less "reporting" in the last 2 years (not just Chase cards, but 5 cards period), and only apply for 2 Chase cards per month, you should be fine.

Re: Xmas and my app spree!

As JustMe said, it's total number of accounts in the last 24 months must be less than 5, not Chase cards in general.  Also, if you want to get both then CSP should be first app since the restriction generally only applies to Chase-branded cards; co-branded cards seem to not have this restriction yet (per multiple sources on this forum and others).

As long as you're sure you'll find good use out of these, then good luck!  And congrats on your successes so far Smiley Happy

Re: Xmas and my app spree!

Only if you REALLY REALLy want another card, I would go for the CSP, check Chase's Pre-Qual screen.  I've said I'm done half a dozen times but somehow end up falling out of the garden lol.

The 5/24 rule applies to Chase cards like Slate, Freedom and CSP.

The rule does not apply to Chase co-branded cards like United, Marriott, Hyatt, others.

Thus if you want the CSP, you apply for the CSP first, that takes up the last slot in the "5/24" rule, then you continue on with another co-branded Chase card like United.
