about synchrony: Got a Store Card bill in the mail, along with a Walmart card preapproval...

So I am scratching my head here... Fin Feather Fur's store card is through Synchrony. I got approved for a $2000 line with them and I was certain I'd get denied. A few days later I get my first statement in the mail (quite quick in my opinion), and on the same day I got my statement for the Fin card I got a preapproval offer for a Walmart card. When I looked closer at the paperwork, it was also from Synchrony. So my question is: coincidence or a high likelihood of approval? I dont want to keep dinging my credit, I have 7 inquiries on TU, 5 on EQ, and I have no clue on EX because I don't want to pay $20 a month for their reports.

Pre-Approvals are golden as far as I know and Walmart is one of the easier cards to get and $2k line starting with Sync is actually pretty good so I would say you are great for Walmart if you want it.
