add me to the list for BBVA NBA card :(

  Alright here we go...  I got my BBVA NBA AMEX card in the mail then I activated the card somehow it took me to the credit department and they are asking me to fax in photo ID or one of UTIL bills before I could access to my $7,000 SL approval .....  sounds like a pain to me! I have never had to do this not even when I was 6 months out of BK let alone 7+ years old..  I am kinda of regretting applying for this...   atleast no HP alerts so far.

If its verification why approve a person first? The purpose of verification is to confirm identity before a decision is made smh Their system makes no sense.

Yeah I agree with that.. would you agree it sounds like 7K SL is frozen until I fax it in ? so save myself from being declined and dont use their card until its straighten out?

Hey, it's amazing there's no HP so far!!  Ironically, your situation seems backwards from the others who were verified before they got their card, but if that's all you got to do -- send in your photo ID and a Util bill, then it sounds like a sure thing to me.  GO FOR IT!!

I didn't get any verification whatsoever and I was instantly approved.  Just made my 3rd purchase this morning at Bath, Bed, and Beyond -- I'm liking my card!!!   Good Luck!

See, not every "bandwagon" or "gravy train" works for everyone

Did they provide you with a fax # to send that in?  If so, do so as soon as practical so they can update those ID records.  Not sure on the turnaround timeframe though.  And, you won't be able to use the card until they get and update the info.  Your call though.  On the upside, no HP I suppose!
