amazon and walmart denials

I have received ee of bk7 successfully on two of three reports, so I thought I would apply for a couple of credit cards. I tried Chase Amazon again without the bk on my reports, and I was rejected again. I called, and they said I was blacklisted. I applied for the Synchrony Amazon store card and was rejected for that too. I have not received the letter, so I do not know the exact reasons yet. I also tried Capital One Walmart and was declined for that as well. That was denied for too many inquiries and “new account credit limit too low”. I am not sure what that second reason means. I thought that the Amazon store card and the Walmart card would not be too difficult to get. From what I have read on here, I understand that neither of those issuers will recon. If it says I have too many inquiries, how long should I wait before trying again?  I do have inquiries from car shopping earlier this year but really nothing else bad.

Not enough info on profile, but stop apping. 3 straight denials is screaming... Danger Will Robinson!!

How much did you burn Chase for? They usually have long memory. Will not usually approve with BK showing.

list scores, inq, cards, derogatory. We can help with a fuller picture of profile.

Re: amazon and walmart denials

I don't remember the exact amount I burned chase for but it wasn't much. I think around $2000 in the bk a decade ago. I had applied earlier this year and they told me here to wait until the bk was gone to try again. I have no negatives/derogs. I do have inqs from car shopping and they pulled my credit more than they were supposed to. it is now eq 5, ex 8, tu 7 due to the car. I have amex 1.5 years old, a couple retail cards I got the end of last year, and the discover it  they suggested to me on here beginning of this year plus a couple au

edited to add: my fico scores were in the 750s before the applications

It doesn't take much, Chase' memory is better than an elephants.  If you maintain a clean profile you'll eventually get back in, but obviously not today.

The fact that you were 0/3 on your recent spree tells you that you need to chill for at least 6 months or so.

Chase actually told you were blacklisted?

Yes, they did. they said I was blacklisted because I included them in the bk7 and I also have no relationship with their bank at all is what they said when I asked for recon

Re: amazon and walmart denials

Sorry to hear the denials.  I am sure there are many companies / banks out there looking to provide credit. You are in a better position now since your BK is deleted from your reports. Why not wait for 3 months and go for some cards / companies that provide good limit and easy to get approved for.
