this may have been covered in other threads but my search came up empty. can one apply for two Amex card the same day for the same HP ? im pre approved for more than one of their products and there are two that will suit me nicely ,,, thoughts ???

Yes you can, however it probably wont be the same HP

It’ll depend on your timing. I got Delta Gold and Hilton Honors about 90 min apart on the same HP. @WarEagle1 got a pair of revolvers a couple hours apart too but he got two HPs because one was before midnight and one was after midnight, therefore a different calendar day.

Typically once you're approved for 1 card then the others are a SP.

If you're new to Amex then it's usually 1 Credit and 1 Charge for same day approval.  Whether co-brands are different is a good question but, things are always changing w/ Amex.  There's still the 5 (personal) Credit card limit but, Chrage cards don't have a limit on the # of cards.

Same thing happened to me. Prequal'd for BE & BCE. App'd for both within 10 mins. but 1 before midnight & 1 after midnight. 2 HP's.
