so i know the usual play is to request 3x after 61 days but i go to magnifying glass and type credit limit they provide a link which i go to and it comes back that my account is too new ... whomp . i guess ill wait another month to try to see if thats enough time. just a shame since ive seen a lot of people be able to acccess the cli after 2 statements.
Yes it seems the 3x CLI at 61 days isn't as common anymore. In my case, I had to wait 105ish days.
A lot of reports coming in of people having to wait 91 days or longer. Some have to wait up to 6 months. If it's your first account, it's more likely you'll have to wait longer.

I got a 2x CLI at 36 hours (not my first AmEx, but my old one had been closed, although I also had an AU account too- AmEx treats those odd)
My Dad got 3x the same day he was approved (11/2020) (not his first account. old account sold to Citi)
My wife waited about 8 months for her 3x (she got approved Jan 2020, so banks didn't like to lend around then)
On March 2022, I helped a family friend get a 3x, and another in June if memory serves
all in the high 700s to 800s though, except the FF, he was mid 700s (760ish)
I'd be very interested in a larger sample size
They made me wait >91 days, but I still got my 3x CLI.

Most of your DPs are from 2020. I was speaking about more recently, as in late 2021/this year. Also all of your examples already have excellent credit, which obviously helps.
I have 6 AMEX cards and have been with them since 2017. Increased the limit on my Blue Cash Preffered card 21 days ago and currently AMEX provides the following message when I attempt a CLI on any other card:
"You are not able to request another Credit Limit increase on this account because you recently had your Credit Limit increased. Please try again at a later date."
Just got my first Amex. The day I got my 3rd statement I was able to apply for a CLI and was approved for 18k. Also got approved for their checking too.
Same. I was hoping to increase the toy 1k limit to 3k at 61 days but the website says account too new. Waiting for 91 now.

I too got the 1k on the BCP. I have had 4 statement cuts and no luck on the CLI. Next cut is today so lets see if anything changes.
I run around 600-800 a month and PIF before statement date, all charge cards also PIF and never use the POT (have it deactivated). I would imagine its an issue I had with Amex years ago but none the less I am not losing faith.
****UPDATE
I just logged on and requested increase via chat. Sent to CLI page. Got the 7-10 day written response (denial more than likely ) but atleast I had the option to request it.
**** SECOND UPDATE
Denial based on too many new accounts (understandable as most cards except 2 were gotten this year) and high balances with Amex compared to income.
As far as high balances, only balances I have are the charge cards that i PIF (4-7k per month across them). Income is 100k
No love loss Amex
