amex prg is this being greedy. I am still in the soft pull window.

average credit limit for it was 730 in new jersey. i am at 714 from the application.  But i just checked my fico and they said 698 which should i trust.

Remember a while back i had the 50 thousand amex points offer.

I was approved for the PRG card last week with an Experian of 708. I don't know if AMEX only pulls Experian but it seems to be their go to CRA to use.

I have found, however, that the FICO scores on here can lag being reported to me. I have the Credit Watch and get updates. However, I also have the Experian Credit tracker that updates one time per day. Experian Credit Tracker now has FICO scores. I have found it is the most accurate in real time. If you pull that the moment it updates (which may be around 4am each morning!). For example, my Experian dropped from 708 to 690--it took days for that to be relected in the FICO Credit Watcher. Of course, if you do a real fresh pull update you would also know the exact score in real time, but that costs.

credit scores aren't a static thing OP they are dynamic and can change multiple times in one day due to Inquires, balances changing, etc..

w/regards to myfico 3b scores, they deffinetly lag pretty badly..  Of course if you get a new report it will reflect the correct one.

so i just re paid for my fico. And its still lagging behind. Thats a waste of 25 $. I want it back. So now that  my score is definitely 714. should i be greedy or no.

You had to have applied for the Charge card first and Revolver second.

I got a PRG with 674 EX FICO but had already been a cardmember for over 6 years.

Ok geuss i won't go for the prg then. Time to garden until february and then its double cash time.

PRG is more in the 650 range . 717 is almost guaranteed approval in normal circumstances.
