Re: bLISpAY Data Share Points & etc etc ...

When it comes to Blispay, I think data points are next to worthless.  You can have someone with a 680 score, baddies throughout the profile, lots of inquiries, high utilization and exposure, short AAoA and they get approved then you can have someone with a 810 score, long AAoA, low utilization, few inquiries and they get denied.  While I think data points do apply and are pretty indicative of future results for other creditors, I haven't found any consistency at all with Blispay.

Does Discover deny squeaky clean profiles with 810 credit scores too?  I have not heard of this, but I wouldn't know for sure.

yes they do.  they are all over the board as well.  Not verification issues like blispay, but other rabbits they decide to pull out of the hat.  Probably the toughest lender to figure out.  Although more than likely they would approve someone with an 800 score for say 3k rather than deny them and then give someone with a 680 score a 8k CL that kinda weirdness.  Anyways thread is about blispay and didn't mean to change it, just found a place a could show other lenders do similiar weird things thus quoting your comment.

Re: bLISpAY Data Share Points & etc etc ...

I am going to atttempt a blispay again once my bigger accounts have done their October update. Ive paid off 8 accounts to zero, paid down about $4500 in debt over the summer and my 48month auto loan now has 14 payments behind it. I was rejected in April Blispay for inquries alone, but we all know if you are borderline on any criteria they just pick one that is also bad, as its proven high INQ  doesnt make a denial if your util is fine.

I'll tell you all ALL about it if i snag one, if this thread is still alive, and ill make an approval post  im sure.

Interesting.  I read quite a bit on these boards and have not seen many cite 800+ scores getting denials from Discover.  Low (relative) SL approvals sure, as is the case with any creditor really as all of them to some degree are difficult to figure out.  I'll have to read up more on Discover; with Blispay it's a glaringly obvious flaw referenced by many people [relative to the total number of Blispay approvals].

I don't have a bLISpAY card, however I am intrigued by this new startup card and wanted to collect some information for others as intrigued as myself. Mind you this is a NEW Credit Card Company and I am pretty sure they are a WIP (Work in Progress).  What I mean by that is that they are going to tweak and fine tune their product and probably their qualifications.  So what I am trying to do here is to collect data so that we all can make a more educated decision on if we are ready to app or not.
