What number did they have you call?
I decided to try and got a message saying we received your application but need to talk to you before we make a decision. Then it gave a phone number of 877-431-5865 to call within 5 days. I called the number and a recording answered Credit Department and said their hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and to call back during those hours. It was just a whim so I am not feeling it now. I might call, might not. I'm so sick of having to mail DL; SS Card and a Utility bill in to these companies. It would be so easy to scan and upload a copy. At any rate I don't know what they want so it may not be identiy related anyway. I guess it's not an outright denial by the computer. I will update if I decide to make the call.
Looks like they are pulling Experian only and a score of
700 is the Bar. Just gauging the current trend of apprvs.

River 123, Same deal with me. I called that number, she asked me to verify full name, address, and to name two credit card companies that would be listed as an account on my credit report. Took about two minutes for the entire call. She said I would receive notice of approval or denial in 7 to 10 days and if I was approved, I would get the card at that time as well.
interesting how they are asking people to call in only to give them 7-10 day message.
You are right. If you are approved they could tell you right then. If the reject you they can ask you to wait for the 7-10 day letter for a decision so they won't have to go into any explanation. If the computer approves and gives you a limit instantly the credit dept you have to call should be able to as well.
This call in and wait stuff is riidiculous. I am assuming if you have to wait you will not be approved as instant approvals can use their number right away online or on their phone, The card company loses business when you have to wait to buy something 7-10 days. I just did it on a whim after reading the posts on the forum. Seems I bet one hard pull and lost. That was the hand I was dealt so I'll play somewhere else so to say. I am not calling for a denial.
Can anyone speak to calling and getting approved?
Good luck to others who are successful though,
ive seen one post where it asked to call in to verify, because op had a fraud alert but other than that nope.
Wouldn't the Chase FU card still be better than this when combined with SP or Ink for travel?
