I have been carying balance for the last 9 months, I reached out 50% of the credit line, but I paid 20% before statement cut. They have reported 30% on my CRA. I can't complaint for now because I was approved for 10K, but I would love to see more
I will wait after 12 months to see if an auto CLI will happens.
If I waited 18 years for Target Visa Card to give me a CLI, I can wait few years for Barclays to give me an auto CLI ![]()
10k starting limit not bad! I would be happy if I had 10k, to be honest I wouldn't even care for the auto cli with that limit lol. Hey what was your fico score at approval? I had a 726 transunion fico and only recieved 2k! I'm at 738 now due to my 2 newest accounts opened on Feb 1st.

Goes to show that score isn't everything. Got ring 12k with 713 TU08.
Yea it has to be new opened accounts, when I was approved 7 months ago I also had 2 new open tradelines!!! I guess for me it's the new accounts they don't like, everything else is perfect on my credit reports! Uti always under 10 percent, never missed a payment, no negatives, high income !

Creditors do not simply give out credit in exchange for time. They may have patterns like 7th statement where they tend to give CLI but its still based on perceived risk and other factors
You may have hit your max for the time being for that card. All you can do is patiently wait, use it and pay it off. Or take a HP CLI. But no guarantee
Never assume you'll get a CLI at x amount of statements. You'll be disappointed.
Good advice!! When it does happen, it's that much sweeter.

Put 55 swipes on it and $5,500 thru it ( purchases and BT ) and first payment of $1,400 was made Feb 20th.
Feb 20th got CLi of $2k and haven't had the card a month yet.
Use the the mess out of your card. Max it out , let it post to your reports one time then after that keep running it up to
the limit and pay it down to your desired ult % before statements cut.
Congrats on your instant CLI!!! Thanks for the advice!
