I'd try to ask for PFD (pay for delete). Sometimes for a med collection, the OC will recall the debt, let you pay it, and wipe it off your report. Check out the rebuilding forums if you already haven't. There's a lot of good info on PFD.

For medical debt:

1. Call the OC and ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
2. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
3. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help

Since you already have a chase card, id roll the dice. Chase really has surprised me over the past year. I was approved for 6 chase cards, all signature visa's except slate. Never instant but accounts showed up a few days later. When i got CS, i had a collection on both tu and ex, they only pulled tu for CS back in october: now u cant apply for it. I got csp in November with no collection on TU but 3 derogs on EX, old derogs though from 08- 09. But my EX score was like 648, approved. Then approved for Ritz and UA explorer.

High inquiries, utilization always under 14%
