chase slate visa application

I apply today for chase slate and it gives the following message:

We need to review your request a little longer. We will let you know of our decision as soon as possible.

Thank you for choosing the Chase Slate.

Then I receive a e-mail with the 30 days review message.

Is that good or bad?. Is the first time I receive the " we let you know of our decision as soon as possible".

That's a pretty standard message whenever any application requires further processing.

The decision can go in either direction OP. You can contact the automated line to check the status of your in the next few days. If the automated message reflects anything as far as 2 weeks or 30 days then that's *generally* a good sign. If it yields the 7-10 message it can be a denial or possibly a request for additional information.
