citi decline

Got declined by citibank with Ex FICO 750 due to inquiries and too many accounts with balances.   There about 10 accounts reporting balances that have been paid out over 2 mos ago......should I dispute these with the CRA and recon or just forget about Citi because of all the inquiries (over 40)

Re: citi decline

Ooooooh 40 inqs. Citi is super sensitive to inqs. I'd pretty much fuggedaboutit till inqs fall off.

Re: citi decline

10 accounts were paid two months ago and Citi couldn't see the updated reports with a hp? That's odd.

Those 10 accounts would of been reported already......... something is fishy going on here.

Citi is very sensitive to inquiries as others have said.  But I'd still look into why the balances paid over 2 months ago have not updated yet.  That is worrying..

They don't need to fall off.  Citi really looks only at the last 6 months.  So once his age quite  bit and there only a few in the last six months, he should be ok
