Generally for most lenders 10k is the minimum annual income. So 2k a year is rather low

Recon and ask if you can consider the allowances you get from your parents as part of your gross income assuming they give you any money at all. Wouldn't hurt.

sorry to hear it. but 2k is really low for a CCC to approve. if you have any additional income available to bring you over the 10k line, call and recon. if not, you'll be making big bucks soon, so have no worries. good luck.

Hello Alberto,

I was declined for the citi double cash card sunday night for insufficient income. This card is a incredible cash back that as a film major and a film maker WILL give me more bang for my buck on my purchases which are rather large. Which range from 500-5000 on the average piece of film equipment. Please reconsider my application, my credit score is great to start off with, a 725, I am in great standing with discover, and the only reason my utilization is high is a authorized card I am on because my father switched jobs and was paid less for one year. Also my gpa is great currently a 3.5. 

I am perfectly ok with starting off with a 500 $ credit limit.

Please take your time to decide.
