comenity bank issues with cli

I have 6 comenity backed store cards from rebuilding.  I tried the luv button on two and got an error message.  Called automated system and could not do it there either. Spoke  to a cs rep and they said that it wasn't going through because of of fraud alert on experian.  I called experian and they said no fraud alert ever on my report. That was two months ago. Fast forward to today I still can't do luv button on 3 of the six cards. Comenity says they took it off three of them but nothing can be done with the other 3!? Huh? Still a fraud alert.  Called experian again. They said no fraud alert.  Never has been one on my report. Had my local credit union check. No fraud alert.  Called comenity back,they said they are pulling a recent report. What the hell?  Don't know who is lying.  Comenity seems very incompetent to me. Why could they remove the fraud alert from only 3 cards and not the other 3 if from the same credit report?  I spoke with a supervisor and she said sorry nothing they can do. I've emailed the eo . I'll be closing these cards. Never experienced this before.  Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for bringing this up, I have the same issue and I think it is related to an address update I made on all my cards except Marathon (which incidentally gave me a CLI). I was prompted to call in, followed the prompts and was connected to a CSR who said they needed a hard pull. My EX was thawed when I called so as usual, Comenity CSR's are pulling reasons out of their usual bag of tricks. I don't put any merit in anything they tell me any more, I'll see if the CLI button reappears in a few weeks.

Thanks for the reply. .funny thing is nothing has changed. Address,ect. Everything is the same.  Don't know where they are getting a fraud alert from.

These guys are just like Synchrony they are using a soft pull from months ago, I was recently denied a CLI on a Synchrony card for a PR on file, there is no more PR on file, the report they were using was over 4 months old. I would just wait a few months for this to clear they will get around to getting a new soft pull without that info on it, if you call and ask them to do it you probably will end up with a hard pull on your CR.

I am having the same issue, i was able to use the love button on al commenity cards except express, i would enter income and nothing would happen i called and they said i had a fraud alert and equifax wasnt giving my report to them, I do not have a fraud alert on equifax i called them and pulled my report right from equifax and no alert. Now its doing the same thing on VICTORIAS SECRET when i click the button it just stalls and nothing happens. I also went to add an authorized user on VS and they sent me a secure message back saying they cant due to my credit report and will contact me within 7 days WTH
