After a recent spree, I froze my reports.
If I were to seek a second card with an issuer with which I have an existing relationship, will I need to unfreeze?
(My understanding is that, because of the existing relationship, they can get the information. Or does the freeze prevent the lodging of an INQ, regardless of the existing relationship?)
EQ | 850 | 2 INQ (Auto, Mort) | 7y4m |
EX | 850 | 6 INQ (2 CC, 2 mort, 2 auto) | 7y |
TU | 850 | 1 INQ (CC) | 6y8m |
3/24 | 1/12 | AoYA 10m | AoOA 24y2m | ~1% |
Can you please let us know what bank does a SP from time to time for New Accounts??

Best to unfreeze if you're actually serious about wanting the card. Most will do another HP. I know of only one that SPs for new cards from time to time.
When I requested a CLI online for the cards in my sig, I got the dreaded "We will let you know in 7-10 business days".
I was scratching my head, until the next day when i remembered about my freeze. So I unfroze and tried again, with instant approvals on all three cards.
So a pre-existing relationship is def not a guarantee to bypass a freeze if they need to do a pull.
