I want to go on my first "real spree". My scores are EX: 614 TU: 577 EX: 613. I want to do a few shopping card tricks if possible. I am considering places that I will really use like lowes or home depot as well.
my question is if I am approved how long will it be before it shows on my credit that I have them? My business is currently up for an equipment loan this month and I am hoping to not have any new cards on my report until after the loan process is complete.
Anywhere between a few days up to a month, or so. They're all different, all having different reporting schedules---I've found.
To address your mention of an app spree, depending on what you're looking to obtain as far as new cards, with your current scores, you may find your selections to be quite limited. Secondly, you mentioned Lowes and Home Depot, neither that I'm aware of works via SCT. And also I should mention that your scores still seem to be a bit low for either. I know that Lowes is with Sync and they seem to place a lot of value on your TU score which is below 600, so obtaining that card with a usable limit may be out of the question for now. I'm not sure for Home Depot but I believe they're backed by Citibank and they're not an easy nut to crack either.
However, if you're able to pull off an approval with anything Sync backed, you can expect that account to show up on your reports within 24-72 hours. If you do decide to go on the aforementioned "spree" be sure to chime back in and let us know the results. Best of luck to you!

Citi HD has a prequal...
lovely APR for me. I guess that's what the 0% is for...
You're pre-qualified for a The Home Depot® Consumer Credit Card! Provide a few more details below to apply.
Invitation Code:xxxxxx
Offer Expires:07/01/2016
Annual Percentage Rate:25.99%
I kinda figured it would. I got a prequalified offer from credit one up to $1500 in the mail. I am not sure what to do about it, or how solid of an offer it is. I already have a capital one quick silver one card at $1300.
Credit One goes in the trash and Capital One try the prequalify. go for that one it will grow. It's not a disaster to get a tiny limit with the Lowe's card compared to something with Citibank
I am sorry I wrote that weird. I meant that I wanted to try for other cards with the shopping cart trick and apply for the home depot and lowes the regular way. I know my scores are a bit lower than I would like. I am working on clearing it up more this month. That is why I am so nervous about a spree. Maybe I should wait a little while
thanks. I didn't get anything on the prequal site

I already have a capital one. $1300 CL. Why credit one in the trash?
