AMEX ask for 3x if you haven't already, that's a Centurion Bank product, right? It's a SP. Maybe get another revolver there, but it's EX HP if approved, but worth it.
Walmart ask thru chat for 25K, tell them "the online button gave you an error message" and be persistent, they hit a canned response telling you to try the button, SP.
Lowes ask for 25K you will get it I bet.
As for TU pullers, best one I know is Barclay Sallie Mae, outstanding rewards.
@sorachepa wrote:Hello everyone, need some advice here. trying to find a good credit card that just pulls TU (since i am app free for over an year in TU - last was June 2013 for Chase, got CSP with a sweet $20K limit). i am a scoromaniac and check scores on many sites.. almost an OCD level.. here are my TU scores and their sources..
Free TU scores from Walmart, Discover, CapitalOne
Paid TU scores from transuniononline.com; CSecure (Amex)
@softpull - Lending Club for loan of $24K @ 8.09% APR
when i check my scores at transuniononline.com, they are about 75% (of max 990) and it is just improving after bringing my % UTIL down to 15% in Nov due to Lendingclub loan. just before this, i got denied for CLI from Walmart (once in May 2014, SP, letter say 701/850 and once in Nov 2014, SP, letter say score is 721/850)., what do i need to do to increase by CLI? i can open a CC but I may not get another $20K limit which will keep my % UTIL down., i need to do something before the Lendingclub personal loan hits the books and bring my scores down. my current AoAA is just shy of 5 years.
any suggestions?
So you currently have $16,500 on your credit cards, plus $24,000 on the Lendingclub loan at 8%?
Or the Lendingclub loan is taking funds off your credit cards? You've moved $24k to lending club, where you were at $40k on the cards before?
And now you are trying to get another CC for $20k to boost the overall available credit? When was LendingClub actually opened? Just recently?
Yes, i orginally am at 40K on CC (~40% Util); got the $24K from LC and reduced my debt on CC to 15K. i opened the LC in OCT and i can expect to see that personal loan with LC on my credit reports anytime in Dec or Jan at the latest. I still have 15K in CC debt and if i can get a nice new card with 15 months 0% APR, then i can pay it off on time. so, the questions is which one is a good card that can give me a nice Credit limit..

Ok, that's the situation I thought. Others may have some ideas for cards to app for.
My suggestion is, don't expect a new BT card to fix your utilization issue. You owe $40k. I don't know what your income is, but that is a large amount of money. Your score may have bounced up a bit due to the time lag of the LOC reporting, but I would caution against trying to "manage the FICO" by opening another account. That is a fool's errand. You have a reasonable interest rate now on a large share of your debt. Pay it down. Don't pay any attention to your FICO score AT ALL. You don't need new credit, you need to pay the credit you already have open.
I also have a large amount of CC debt. I like to think my income profile allows me to pay it down, and that is what I'm doing, but I am also living very frugally, have been for a few years. There is only one way to improve our FICO scores now, pay down the existing debt.
Good luck!
i don't like you NRB525..
deep down i know you are absolutely correct but you are denying me instant gratification of openening a new credit line. my LOC is 36 months and i should really enter the "garden" for next 24 months and only live off of SP CLIs.
thanks for the advice - it is really with my best interest.
