Yes, it is free because Amex provides the membership. Nice, right?

@Anonymous what is this shoprunner offered by AMEX says I can enroll but is it really free or do I have to sign up and have to pay the membership fee of $79 dollars a year from what I read online?? and is it worth it or no to enroll with shoprunner?

Re: question about chase credit cards I applied for.

okay so here's a real decent question since I'm accepted for 10k, how does the credit utilization play into this. I heard from online and others you are suppose to stay under 30% of your max credit limit so in my case max is 10k. so how would I figure out 30% of my 10k to never go over ??

Re: question about chase credit cards I applied for.

The lower the utilization, the better. Yes, they say to try and stay under 30%. But fellow myFICOers say to stay under 28.9% to allow rounding up of numbers and interest.

This thread has some really good info.

Re: question about chase credit cards I applied for.

I don't know. Amex chat can tell you.

Go to your online account.

Click "chat" on the lower right corner.

It will pop up a chat window.

They are usually fast, no wait.

Just tell them you are newly w/Amex, when will you be billed for the AF?

Have you bought anything yet with you new card?

Re: question about chase credit cards I applied for.

Thanks I never even thought about chase online chat!! and I have not bought anything with it I don't know the credit card number or anything I assume when you get it you need to activate it. It's sunday or was sunday so I'd assume they dont send anything thru US post office I would assume no later than wed. I'd receive it. I'm also calling chase for the freedom I'm kind o nervous. I know to be nice but never had to call the recon before lol
