? regarding back to back chase apps

so yesterday i had preapproved offers for chase slate and CSP.  ended up taking the CSP ( had to recon ) but was ultimately approved for it.  fast foward to today.   still have the slate preapproval sitting there and have been tempted to try for that one too.  reason why is that i have a paypal balance around $2000  that is charging me $60 a month in interest.  the slate would most definately help with that if i transfer it over.   whatt are my odds i can get approved for that too.  and is it worth it.

Are you over 5/24? What was your SL on CSP? If it was the min of 5K, I would expect a smaller SL on Slate if you are indeed approved. I don't think you would be approved based on scores and that they approved one app already. But you won't know until you do. Personally, I would have apped for Slate first if BT was my main concern.

thanks for the response back.   i actually apped and was approved , of course with a smaller CL like you said ( $2000 )      was hoping for atleast $5000  but its ok.   called to recon and they said i would have to ask for an increase on the card, if denied call them back so see if they can match my other limit.   dont know if i want to use HP for all that. but im done with new cards after these last two.

Your signature lists scores from 2016, are those still current?

Slate SLs are always small compared to some of their other cards. Which is counterintuitive since the only good thing about them is the BT offers. And most want to transfer a higher balance than the SL. Good that you are in with Chase with two cards. They have been very good to me and hopefully as you let them grow you will get more Chase love as well.
