Nothing is a guarantee. But in my opinion you have a very good chance of getting the card. Good Luck!
You look solid for it... Report back with results if you do apply for it.
I'll be surprised if you have a problem getting approved. You might have to get a CLI if you aren't started with a high enough CL for your purchase, but luckily with Amex that's possible right away if your credit profile supports it, and it sounds like yours likely does.
As with everything, YMMV, but there's only one way to know for sure...

Hey,
I'm just looking for opinions. I'm planning on making a 2000$ purchase in the coming weeks and am hoping to take advantage of their 15 month 0% intro and 250 back for spending 1000.
My score currently is 740. Now this will be my first American express card. Is it safe to go for the bcp as my first one? I am prequalified for it at 12.99% interest. I have no derogatory marks but I did open a chase freedom last month im not sure if that matters.
Lastly I'm wondering what kind of limit I would get if approved. My 2 cards I have now are 1600 and 1200. I need a limit over 2000 to make this purchase. Think I have good odds of getting that kind of limit? My income is 30000.
Thanks for any help!
Or you can apply for BCE, have no AF, the same 0% interest, some $$ back and you can upgrade to BCP whenever you really feel like it.
I'm of the mind that you don't have to have an AF if you don't think you'll be getting great use from a card. If you are going to use the categories and spend heavily on this card to make use of them, then by all means, apply for this card. If you don't on the other hand, apply for BCE and don't worry about the AF.

Agree. You should have no issues what so ever. nothing is 100%. but in your case it is as close as you can get. any lender can say no. but you look golden.
Did you apply? What was the outcome?
