I hit the luv button earlier in the year, 7 months after I got the card. Went from 4k to 4,250. Sometimes its not all cracked up to be..I wouldn't worry about it.
Don't worry about it. I'm also at $500 and waiting for 3 months to try a CLI.

You should hit it again now; probably get a $1K bump.
I had a similar $4K to $4.5K increase. Best just get the auto CLI on Discover, as a HP is not worth that
Also, just noticed a bunch of benefits are going poof 1Aug!
24/7 Travel Assistance, Baggage Delay Insurance, MyConcierge, Travel Delay, and Emergency Roadside Assistance
Discover Card purchases made on or after August 1 will not be covered by these benefits. Please visit Discover.com/cardbenefits for details on these benefits.
Thanks for a crappy cash back and rewards program, high APR, AND fewer benefits.

If you have patience, it will work out. There will be CLIs, and they tend to be good with APR reductions. Don't rush it. Credit is a marathon, not a sprint. Best of luck.
You guys do know this thread over 3 months old. im sure op got his cli by now. the gravy train is over. so thats it.
I'm new, all threads are new for now, doesn't discount my extemporaneous distaste for Discover's shabby benefits. I like to recycle, threads included.

Recycling old threads are not a good idea as sometimes the info. in the threads are no longer valid and resurrecting old threads are not encouraged. It is much easier to start your own anytime for fresh inputs/comments.
