tj maxx reviewing app??

I decided I would make my 3rd revolving TL a TJMaxx card at my GFs request. I did this in-store any the CS rep gave me a lil receipt that says "thank u for applying. Your app is currently being reviewed" WTH gives? I can never get instantly approved for anything!!! lol... The lady told me that every time she has seen this, th ecostumer comes back with an approval but I think maybe she could just tell I was disappointed. I didnt want to take another hard pull for a denial. They also stated I would receive the status in writing within 30 days. Any help??

When apply in store for their cards I receive that message as well.  I give them a call and after verification I am approved.  The only two cards I have no luck with is Lowes and Toys R US.  All of my other cards has been approved.

So, i called and they told me that they were sorry but my app was denied. So i bit the bullet and applied for PayPal credit and to my great suprise was approved for $1250! What i didn't know was that this was a hidden trade line and does not report to the 3 CRAs! Jeeez! I can't win for losing....lol. i am grateful for the new acct tho

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm used to getting the BIG rejection too. I was recently rejected for Sam's too. Even went to the store, because of all of the preapprovals people had in-store. No go!! No preapprovals. No nothing!!

When the whole Blispay thing blew up, everyone was approved.....but, not me....lol! That's our luck! But, I did get approved for other things since then, which helped sooth my disappointment.

So a BIG Congrats on your PayPal credit! That's an awesome limit! Good thing about a hidden TL, you don't have to worry about utilization.

That's not true. I have PP smart connect too and this is on my CR, all 3.

That's not true. I have PP smart connect too and this is on my CR, all 3.

He may have been approved for PayPal Credit via Comenity...which is indeed a hidden TL.
