why doesn't amex send me this!

So i as i retrieve the mail today i saw there was a black envaloppe from american express. when i walked inside the house i saw it was a pre approval for the AMEX PLATINUM with the 100k offer if one spends 3k in 3 months.. ONLY PROBLEM it was for my sister i told her about it and she said no she does not want it she does not want to spend 450 in fee. ( my parents used to have this card and she was a AU long time ago). after 10 mins trying to convince her i told her for the CSP and she said no i gave up at that point lol but i wish amex would send me that i will take it in beat lol

tell her you'll pay for the annual fee, and ask her to add you as AU

sadly she does not sees it. and the funny thing is that when my parents had that card and she was an AU. she went to Hawaii with all the points my parents had.. over 600k points.

I believe it's worth $1,000 in straight-up cash back. But, of course, the real value would be in using the MR for travel.

I believe it's worth about $666.67 in statement credit, or much much more on travel redemption. If you save up for the next BA Bonus you can get 140K Avios which for short haul in the US can practicaly buy you 5-14 round trip flights depending on distance.
