Hey everyone!
I'm new to this board but have been lurking for a while so I thought I'd create an account to share my recent approvals from June-July!
Here's some DPs at the time of my first approval:
Inquiries: 14 (EX)
Accounts: 6
Oldest Account: 2.4 years
Average Age: 1.5 years
Credit Cards:
Discover it Cash Back: $5,450
Discover it Cash Back: $1,500
American Express EveryDay: $5,000
Apple Card: $8,500
Barclays Uber: $1,400
Capital One Quicksilver: $1,100
Went under 5/24 last month and decided to apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred for the new 100,000 points bonus. I was instantly approved for $12,100.
I then decided to apply for the new Citi Custom Cash card immediately after and was instantly approved for $5,800.
Two weeks later I decided to apply for the U.S. Bank Altitude GO since I was denied for the CSP in the past as well as the GO, so thought why not? I was instantly approved for $1,000 which became $5,000 after I immediately requested a CLI after receiving the card.
To cap off my spree, I decided to apply for the Citi Premier on 7/12 for the 80,000 points SUB and since I was riding off the high of getting approved by lenders that have denied me multiple times in the past. I thought having been approved for the Citi CC just a month before would've made it difficult, but I was again instantly approved for $3,300.
*Citi CC was the only new account reported at the time I applied for the Citi Premier.
I plan on gardening now for two years to have all the inquiries on my report removed before moving forward.
I just wanted to share that with you all since I was able to get the cards I've wanted for a while. A majority of my inquiries on my reports were due to denials by Chase, Citi, and U.S. Bank in the past! Now I don't feel bad for the amount of inquiries on my report since I was able to get the cards in the end!
Congratulations! But I'm confused. You said you were approved for CSP but then said you were denied?
EDIT: Never mind. I think you changed the post and corrected it after. Nice approvals, enjoy!
Thank you!
I applied for the CSP, CFF, and CFU in the past (3 of the inquiries on my report at the time) and were all denied. I reapplied for the CSP last month and was instantly approved for my highest limit of $12,100 which gave me the confidence to go on this app spree.
Congrats on all of the very nice approvals!
Congrats on your approvals!🎉
Congratulations on your approvals and welcome to the forums!!
Nice approvals -- Congrats! & thanks for the DPs, although you didn't include your FICO scores?
At the time of my CSP approval last month:
EX: 741 EQ: 761 TU: 758
Congrats on the approvals! Am I misunderstanding something about US Bank? I was under the impression that they were very strict about not approving apps if you've been approved for 2 cards in the past 12 months?

I was wondering the same, but maybe it's because the other cards haven't reported yet. Guess the inquiries didn't scare them either lol.
