2 Approvals AMEX Hilton Surpass & Cash Magnet but something odd..

It's taken me over a month to get approved for 2 AMEX's, the Hilton Surpass and the Cash Magnet. It was the whole Bank letterhead to verify address thing. Started because of an unnecessary fraud alert that was quickly released... however the various items I sent them for verification had to be tweaked, again and again. Then FINALLY yesterday they were actually able to talk to my branch manager while I was sitting there initiating the call with my cellphone to their 0237 number...30 minutes later I received the emails that I finally got the approvals. Each e-mail contained the last 5 of the account. I tried to setup an online account with the provided link, but when I put in the verifying information it faulted with "Your reference number has expired" This happen to anyone else? Also, how long does it take to get your cards from AMEX? Thanks

Congrats on the approvals!  I agree with above posts, I usually received my cards from Amex quickly, within a week.

Congratulations. To set up online account you will have to wait for the cards. Same thing happened to me and my girlfriend when we tried to set up online accounts.
