At the beginning of February i apped both cards. The Discover IT 5% was first and went to pending. I called in and just gave a verbal address and name verification. Approved for $4,500. It had a 0% apr for purchases and balance transfers(3%fee) and another round of cash-back match. Not sure on exact details( i think 0% for 12 months and then a 24.XX%) They pulled Experian with a 713. 9 inq. Last time they pulled Transunion. My first Discover(apped for IT they gave me Chrome) was opened in Nov 17'. It was secured for $700. Graduated at 7 months to $1500 and I couldn't get a increase until Jan' 19' for $300 instant and $300 double-dip. I maybe put $2,500 through the first one and usually PIF but not always as it did have a 0%apr for a while. Balance was $0 when i apped the 2nd Disco.
The Paypal 2% CB went pending with a call within 48hrs msg. I called and gave a verbal address and identity verification. They sent a code to my cellphone to read back to the agent. Approved for $4,000 @ 22.24% apr. Since this was not a instant approval it didn't get linked to my Paypal account immediately- with a temporary limit to use before card arrival. I guess i have to wait 3-5 days after card activation before it'll be there. After i activated it i found out there's a $200 temporary limit. My Synchrony exposure consists of Amazon store card with $6,000 cl and Paypal credit with $3,750 both auired in July 18'. Between the two cards i had about a $1,800 balance when i apped the 2% cb card. They pulled Transunion with a score of 710 with 5 inq.
