So while out of the garden last weekend, I applied for a second Discover card...  I was preapproved and chose the 18 month zero percent on BT offers because, well I'm me.

They show my TU 08 score at 748, and approved for a $5k starting line.

... I'm debating smacking the love button right out of the gate as I was hoping for a larger starting line...

Congrats!  I am also looking at picking up a second Discover pretty soon.  What was your APR after the promo period ends?

Congrats!
I would call them, tell them you're doing a BT and give them the amount you'd like to transfer. A lot of times they will budge a bit
